National park campaign:

Sequoia National Park

This project was called National Park Campaign. I worked on this campaign during December of 2018. The name of the national park that I choose is called 'Sequoia National Park'.

I created a poster that can represent the Sequoia National Park. I focused on the idea that is away from the landscape illustration of the national park posters. Moreover, I used the Vignelli's
unigrid system to create the brochure for the Sequoia National Park.

Background information about the Sequoia National Park

Sequoia National Park is named for earth’s largest living things-Sequoiadendron giganteum, or giant sequoias. Their massive, cinnamon-hued trunks and stout limbs soar skyward only here, on the western slope of the Sierra Nevada range, between 5,000 and 8,200 feet.

This park is home to the General Sherman Tree, the largest tree in the world. Based on that information. I created the national park poster with the illustration of the Sequoia tree leaf. There are lots of national park posters with a beautiful landscape, I wanted to explore and focus more that people do not know often to evoke the curiosity to figure out. Also, by using a simple color palette with bold typeface with a simple design intended to bring people's attention into the poster faster than others.
For the brochure, I used the vinyl's unigrid to create and composite with my own thoughts.
